We had a mountain climb last February 21-23 @ Mt Pulag Benguet to take photos of the famous Sea of Clouds. The scenery is so perfect. This is one of the best places I've seen. One of 100 places to see before you die. Haha. This one beats the Niagara Falls of Buffalo New York I've seen 3 years ago.

The event was hosted by UP Mountaineers, for a Gawad Kalinga Foundation Project, "Climb a Mountain Build a House".

Approximatley 4 hours walking to the camp site , 1.5 hours walk to the summit and another 4 hours trek going back to the ranger station. The experience was extremely exhausthing but worth it. I guess I lost 6 pounds after the climb. >__<

I formed a Project Band for the UP AME event since my original band Himitsu Heiki won't be able to perform that day. I called my ongaku friends Jeje and Glenn and they go for it. Miggy Borja my classmate took the rhythm guitar and Aijin my orgmate in Illust and a good friend of mine took the bass. Jeje would be the back-up vocals and guitar 2, and Glenn would be the main vocalist. I'm the drummer ofcourse. And thats it, the band is complete. I name my band "MIRANA". The name Mirana came from one of my favorite Hero Warcraft Character "Princess of the Moon". We did great in our preformance.... I think.

Anyway our line up that day is:

Batangas Trip @ Lian Batangas with my classmate Aditha Bautista and Edelyn Avancena during our semestral break.

The trip was really nice. Thanks to Edz she insist me to come with her going to Lian Batangas since she'll be travelling alone. Aditha's place were nice and cozy. I love their place, there are lots of scenery around. I'm sure I'll be going back to that place again.

UST CFAD welcomes freshmen yearly and this year I handled the 1st year painting students with the help of my other painting friends Carlo Masajo, Mary Joy Buenaventura, Ku Romillo, Raffy Lamadrid and Miguel Borja. A big thanks also to the CFAD student council for the assist.

All of the CFAD organizations performed a mini production. AAP debuts their first participation as an official recognized UST CFAD organization. Thanks to Maritoni for completing all the requirements.

Our first stay in Hawaii is a rest day. I did nothing but sleep, eat and play dota all day.

The second day is the start of gimmick and tours.

2nd Day: we visited U.S.S. Arizona Memorial Stadium Pearl Harbor

I've been here last January. My brother wants to see it so I came along. I had no choice.

3rd Day: Swimming in Ko Olina Resort

I told my Uncle to bring me in a waterfalls, because I saw a very nice waterfalls in Hawaiian ads wherein you need to ride a mini chopper to view the top. Not knowing that he would bring me into a falls with a height twice as a I am. Ahahaha! A man made falls here in Ko Olina Resort! We didn't expect to end up in this beach. I had no choice but to stay here since the only other option left is a swimming pool nearby.

4th day: Boogie Boarding in Waikiki Beach

This is the best part! Swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding and spotting. ^__^ I always wanted to learn how to surf but before you could ride a surf board, you need to start from a boogie board first. I never knew that, I thought I could surf right away. Besides I don't really know how to surf anyway! That boogie board would do. Hehe ^___^

Our family and relatives had a 2 day vacation at Fontana Leisure Park last April 26 and 27. Last Saturday I slept almost 2am because of too much playing DOTA and woke up at 5am to pack my things up. I brought with me my laptop, dslr cam and my tripod for picture taking. I had my breakfast at burgerking in NLEX and another breakfast in Mcdo Clark. We arrived in Fontana around 9am. My dad and fat brother played golf while me, our driver and my cousin had a road trip. We went to Nayong Pilipino and its our luck. We catches the Race Wars and Drift Demo just in front of the Filipio Expo by chance. We watched a few races and took some pictures.

This is my first time to see a face to face drift. I used a continous advantage setting or multipe shot to take this picture with a shutter of 0.3shoot per second and a shutter speed of 1600. That's around 3 shoot in 1 second. That's the bad side of sony alpha100. Canon 40D could take 6 shots per second. That's twice of my cam.

VACATION IN HONOLULU HAWAII
January 26-30, 2008

I had a tour, round the island all over Honolulu Hawaii. Dito pala galeng yung kamehameha sa Dragonball. Hehe.

Anyway, I visited my grandparents, probably a 2nd degree relative. And they're so nice letting us stay in their house for 4 days. They brought us to Waikiki, the famous Shrimp Shack, Hanauma Cove, Diamond Head and the historical Pearl Harbor. I want to go back there on summmer to try parasailing, snorkeling and diving. Sh3t sana summer na!

We met the founder of International Youth Fellowship and met some culture exchange korean students. They are inviting us to join their group to interact with the youth of other nations. It's nice meeting foreigners eager to meet friends from other countries. And I'm so surprised that these koreans live beside SM Fairview. What a small world. They are inviting us to join their gathering on January 19. I'm excited to meet more koreans there. ^__^
We are the representatives from UST CFAD. Me, Jhoi, Toni and Roy. Too bad Sir Danny's not there.

They Performed korean Cultural Dance before the opening of exhibit. It's cute and their costume reminds me of Jang Jung. Hehehehehe

This is one of the paintings in the gallery.

How nice for these koreans, their culture are very rich in arts and crafts. They promote their artist so much and have a true artist's pride. They're very proud of their artworks made by their preciuos hand. They gave hundreds of colored catalogues just to promote atistry and craftmanship.

This is one of the paintings in GSIS Museum done by a filipino painter. This one caught my attention because of the drama seen in the picture. And the photo realism si superb. Thumbs up!

Painting 2-1 Bicol Field Trip

This Bicol Field Trip was my happiest field trip so far in my life. I'm so glad it was very successful and everyone enjoyed it. It's not my first time to organize and facilitate an outing like this but this is my biggest so far. Bicol is 10 hours from Manila, farther than my province(Abra; 8 hours travel only). We spend a whole day just by traveling. I fulfilled my part as the president of the class. I'm so honored. Everyone thanked me for a memorable outing. Even our Father Regent give credits to me. I was very happy deep inside my heart. On our way back to Manila, everyone applauded for me. Thanks Classmates ^___^

Weeks before the outing, I'm already doubtful that maybe only half of the class could come because it's kind of expensive. And everyone is busy with their stuff. Plates, practices, check-ups, appointment, family outing etc. Name it. Lots of complaints. And the worst of all, I miscalculated the time process of papers in Office of Student Affairs. I submitted all the required documents 2 days delayed. I'm so busted with our Head Department, and I was reprimanded by the Secretary of Ms. Cabral. Me myself was already busy and preoccupied that time. I have plates also to submit, meetings everyday, commissions, and almost all the profs in my minor subjects was giving me a task to do. I can't recall how did I finished all those tasks. It's a miracle I survived. I was 5 plates behind that time already, I was able to save the 2 so only 3 more. There are times that I would sacrifice my lunch just to have meeting with the tour guide, explaining all the itinerary and scheduling. The hardest part is the collection of payments. This is the worst pain in the ass. When I audited the money, I'm 2,400 short. I'm so damn pissed. I really have no idea how did that happened. On the day of our departure, one of my classmate suddenly backed out so I was saved, her payment wouldn't be able to refund since it's a last minute decision of backing out. So that filled the balance and even more. Whew.... Luck is on my side.

I thanked Ma'am Mailah, our head department for entrusting me to handle this trip. And she's also the one who pushed the papers to be processed on the Office of Student Affairs. Without her, all my efforts would be wasted. Thanks also to Carlo Masajo, even he's not our classmate, he assisted me all through out the field trip. Specially on our last day, I reached my limit that I can't stand anymore(literally). My body is almost dead and malfunctioning already. I need rest even just a few hours. Because the night before, I drank alcohol and I only had a 3 hours sleep. Carlo did the supervising on our main activity, Interactive Workshop of my class in collaboration with the fine arts students of Aquinas University. I really thanked him for that. 2 days after the tour, I got a high fever. Ahehehe, way cool!!! But I'm okay now. This is my most memorable school field trip and I believe everyone feels the same way too. I'm looking forward to our next year's field trip since it would be a requirement for our photography and art history. And lastly, thanks to Mr. Belica, Father Regent Alaurin and FGB TOURS. Without them, there's no field trip at all. ^___^

Galing akong Hong Kong last Septmber 7 - 9.

Ayun, ang mash-share ko lang eh, mas'nagenjoy ako sa Hong Kong kesa nung nagpunta ako ng Korea. Kasi sa Hong Kong ako first time nakakita ng totoong Panda. Hehehehe, babaw! Pero masaya talaga siya. Natuwa ako sobra sa Hong Kong's Ocean Park, basta kakaiba siya. Yun lang. Mas-luxurious lang yung mga lugar na napuntahan ko sa Korea, enjoy din naman un pero mas gusto kong balikan yung Hong Kong this Christmas. May nakita kasi akong target dun. Sana makabalik kung may chance ulet..... hehe ^___^

Fiesta pala talaga yung event. Ahehe, kala ko un lang ung name ng event. Talagang may mga pang-fiesta games pala talaga. Ok naman, masaya na rin kahit delayed yung programs.

Super pagod ako sa araw na toh! 12:30 na ako nakuwi. Bigla kong naalala na di pa pala ako nagdi-dinner. Naklimutan ko kumain sa sobrang pagtitipd dahil 100 na lang pera ko at sobrang pagaalala sa nawala kong celfone. Hay, mabuti hindi nawala yung isa ko pang celfone at yung ipod ni ludz. Hay buhay! Happenings last Saturday.

Ayun, pagkagising ko maysakit ako amf. Pero dahil madaming lakad, pinilit ko bumangon at kumaion ng madami at uminom ng gamot. Uminom ako ng robitussin, vitamin c at kumain ako ng 2 apples. Ayun makalipas ang ilang oras bumuti ang pakiram ko. Hehe. Around 2 umalis na ako at diresto MOA para sa opening ng Exhibit ng young Painters Group sa Asia Art Gallery. Group ng classmate kong si Chachu at mga 4th year student. Ahehe, ok naman. Kasama sana ako sa exhibit kaso wala lang akong time nung summer para gumawa. Pero pramis ko ky cha na next year sasali ako. yehey ^____^

At After ng exhibit, kelangan ko naman pumunta sa debut ng classmate ko sa may Marikina. Ahehe, nagmukang painting 2-1 gimmick yung debut. Ayos naman. Grabe umaga na ako nakauwi, as in literal na umaga. 9am. Nagaya kasi magdota yung mga tropa ko sa cubao. Ayun, 6 hours kaming nagdota tas nanakawan pa ako ng kabago-bago kong sweater. hehe malas. Pero ok lang, sweater lang naman, buti hindi yung camera ang kinupit.

At badtrip iniwan ako ng mga kapatid, nagpunta pala silang kainan sa dencios sa Commonwealth. errr.... badtrip kasi na robitussin yan, nakakapaantok. 11 pa lang ng umaga nakatulog nanaman ako. Pero ok na siguro yun para bumalik lakas ko. Sigurado hectic nanaman schedules ko this week until september 17. Field Trip kasi ng class sa sept 13 - 17 at ako nanaman ang maglalakad ng papel sa Office of Students Affair at ako din mangongolekta ng bayad. Hay ubos na rin pera ko! Pero excited din kasi di pa ako nakakapuntang bicol. Orayt!!!

May naabutan pa akong 2 pcs ng pizza at pepsi at sprite na may vodka. Bitin pero ok na rin. Dahil yoko naman malasing kasi dami ko pang gawaing bahay. Errr... prelims na next week at di pa ako nagbabayad ng kalahati ng tuition. Wala naman tatay ko, asa China kasama kapatid kong kupz kaya wala ako pera. Bahala na si batman!!!!

CFAD ADEVERTISING BEST THESIS EXHIBIT 2007

My favortie thesis among the exhibit, first is the Illuminare Photo Tricks, second is the Book Illustration by Nulan Fabular, medium is watercolor, probably with a small amount of acrylic. And lastly, the best thesis I've seen so far in the entire CFAD history, the Filipino Elemantals(aswang etc.) by Ian Balba. Every piece is so skillfully crafted to perfection. Superb. He uses sealant that gets dry for only about 3 hours so he needs to finish a part of the model in less than 3 hours and he made more than 10 creatures. Talking about speed in detailing, it's so professional. Even the presentation itself catches attention. He deserves to be the thesis of the year. ^____^

Wooosh sa wakas natapos na din ang plate # 1 ko sa Still Life. May bago kong natutunan, mga blending sa acrylic. ^____^

A very busy week. I arrive @ my dad's office around 9 every night. I'm busy doing plates and painting on canvass. Adds up the org works and other commission stuffs and meeting. Well I enjoy my school days, I'm very staisfied accomplishing things one by one. I believe there's more to come. I'm looking forward to my new Art project proposed to me by Ma'm Mailah Balde this july. I sense this one is a lot more different from my previos works. I'm getting myself ready. I'm so honored she picked me. ^____^

Landscape Painting. I painted the UST main building using wataercolor on strathmore with a size of 12 X 18. I'm not yet finish though. hehe

My Iranian classmate. She asked me to take photos of her but I'm too busy to be disturbed. I ask my classmates paul and aidz to do the job. I just lend them my camera instead. *Under the sea Experience
Ako lang kasi yata yung marunong sumisid sa ilalim samin at ako lang yata naglakas loob na pumunta sa malalim ng walang snorkel etc. Naapply ko mga natutunan ko nung swimming varsity pa ako nung hi-skul. Di ko maexplain yung ganda ng ilalim ng dagat dun sa Potipot Island. Super asteg yung mga iba't ibang kulay ng isda. Meron pang clown fish, dati sa aquarium sa mga museum ko lang nakikita un. Meron din ako nakitang black na sea urchin, octopus, yung fish na may yellow and black stripes, meron ding blue fish, un ang peyborit ko, meron din parang mga bulate na kulay gray, may mga corals at asteg ung matabang fish na nakita ko at yung fish na parang mga dahon, nagkukunwari silang dahon tas pag lalapit ka, magtatago sila sa sea weeds at magkukunwaring halaman. Ahehehe, angkyut. At ang pinakasteeg na naaexperience ko, e yung habang nasa ilalim ako, meron grupo ng mga isda, as in super dami, ambibilis nila lumnangoy at dumaan sila sa harapan ko at angtagal nun. Sa dami nila pede ka na humablot at mahuhuli mo kaagad. Asteg, de best yung araw na un.

Kaso ang naging side effect, sun burn ang likod ko. Anghapdi sobra! T____T
Pero ok lang, isang linggo lang yan. Hehe sana!

Nung isang araw GTO marathon, kanina nmn DEATH NOTE marathon. Ahehehe. Amfness, yun na pala yung sikat na sikat na deathnote. Nung una di ko magetz baket sikat yun. Parang angkorni. Nung natapos na yung 1st movie, exciting na at nakakatuwa kasi isip ako ng isip kung pano matitigil yung patayan etc. Ehehe, yoko na magbigay ng spoiler, kc baka may mga di pa nakakanuod. Basta ok na rin. Naging OA lng yung story kasi as in kahit sino pede mo na patayin pag meron ka ng reaper's eye. Nyahahaha, papatayin ko yung mga politikong pulpol kung meron akong deathnote. XDDDDDDD

Hehe, drowing mode ulet. Ito ang aking mini studio sa loob ng kwarto, 1 meter away from my bed. Hehe

DA MEAT SPORTS FEST

Deviant Artist Manila had a mini Sports fest @ Marikina Sports Complex last Saturday May 26, 2007.

It's started around 11 or 12 but I arrived around 3. Ahehehehe. I'm late but not too late for fun. ^_____^

I missed the badminton and track and field. I even brought my own pair of rackets but I wasn't able to use it. But still, I was able to play basketball for a short period of time. It's been a long time since I last played basketball. Hehe, after a few minutes, the rain poured and it's the signal for us to rest. Hehe, still, it's nice bonding with your old friends with a different activity besides drawing. Hehe lolz. (Nagtrip pa kami sa Cubao after the game. nagbumpcar sila then tumambay sa gateway, fudtripz after)

Picture tells the story

1st Night - From Incheon Airport we head straight to Oakwood Hotel(same hotel just like in Makati) in South Seoul. We left our baggage then we went to Kite's Kitchen for a dinner. After eating we visited Seoul Tower. We ride the cable car. It's like you're put into a big box and lifted up to the tower diagonally.

My pics of the tower was blurred because it was night time. The picture was dark. So instead, I'll post the pic I got from a site.

After Seoul Tower, Mr. Kang shows us where the Night Market is. It's like a Divisoria here. All bargains are everywhere. And for the midnight snack, we ate on a nearby street food vendor. Then back to Hotel for a rest. (That's around 3am already)

The second day, we leave so early. At 7am we're already on the road. So basically I only had around 3 hours sleep. We went to KTX Seoul Train Station. KTX stands for Korean Train Express. It's a bullet train that runs 300 kilometers per hour. So fast it only took us 2 hours travel from Seoul to Busan City. It's like from Manila to Cagayan of North Luzon just 2 hours by land.

@Dinner we ate in a korean restaurant just beside the beach.

After eating, it's still a bit early. We had fun in the karaoke house. The tv is quite big. And what surprises me are the japanese songs. They have X Japan, Boa, Utada, Glay, Bump of Chicken, Larc en Ciel, Arashi, V6 and even soundtrack of anime like Hunter X hunter and Naruto. I

After 2 Hours of Karaoke, we went to the other side of the city. We passed a very long curve bridge adjacent to our current point. It's a 7 kilometer bridge. You will notice how advance korea is. Their infrastructure are very stunning in temrs of size. We had coffee and pizza in the Guess Who Cafe.

This is already around 12 midnight.

After that, back to the hotel. On the next day we need to leave and go back to Seoul City.

While waiting for our ride, I'm answering the sudoku booklet in the lobby. Before going to the KTX terminal again, we had our breakfast first in an official APEC restaurant. I forgot the name.

This time we ate the korean traditional way. You have to remove your shoes before entering the dining room.

After 2 hours, back to Seoul City Again. We roam around Seoul to view some sceneries in the area. One is the Won Gyung Mountain(Im not sure if I spelled it right). You could see the city from above.

This what made my stay in hotel very satisfying. I never expected the Suite Room have an electronic drums inside. I'm like, whaaaaaaaaaaaaat the!!!!! @____@

I insisted my sister that I will bring home the 2 pairs of stick, not 2 pcs, 2 pairs of 7A. I want to put it inside my bag already but my sister told me that it will be charged to Mr. Kang so I decided to leave it behind. !____!
If it's a real drums, I will steal the cymbals. ^____^

That night we went to everland resort. It's like an Enchanted Kingdom here. The place was nice. I see it more as a park than a resort.

We came in free of charge because it's almost closed when we went inside. So we just had some picture taking inside.

The next place we went to is the Night Market again called Namdaemon (I can't recall it clearly if it's pronounced like that). Every corners are bargain store. We shopped our last won because we won't be able to use it here. Very crowded even at middle of the night. It's pass 12 already and still there are lots of people. We tried to walk also along the man made river of around 5-6 kilometers in length. While on our way back to the parking lot, I saw this building. Hehehehe

I'm not sure if it's a mall but I think it is. hehe, it reminds me of DOTA. hehe

The last day

We had 3 last place to visit

First is the COEX Aquarium, just beside our Hotel.

Second is the Chogyesa Temple (I really can't recall clearly the right name but it sounds like that)
This place is a Buddhist temple where everyone prays inside a big room.

And last is the Kyongbuk Palace. The best place I've visited in Korea. Here you will see the colors of Korea, the remains of their culture heritage. The art, achitecture, interior designs, landscape, paintings, sculpture and more.

I thank Mr. Kang for giving us opportunity to have a very memorable Korea tour. I'm so honored. The country of korea gave me another inspiration. I wish someday I could go back to their place.

Graduation of Criminology, Doctorate and Law @ PICC

Congratulations to all newly graduates of Philippine College of Criminology and Manila Law College.

My uncle ask me to come on to his Gradauation ceremony. He Asked me to take pictures for him because all of his siblings and relatives are in province right now. My sister and cousin came along with us. We arrived at PICC around 2:30. We're so early but there are even people who arrived earlier than us. When we came inside, there are already hundreds of them in toga. All in all, there's about 400 plus newly criminology graduates from PCCR and around 20 law graduates from MLC. My uncle was lucky he's one of the 20. He didn't recieve any honor but still I'm proud for him. He finished law as working and self supporting student. Very impressive. All he need to do now is to pass the bar exam and that's it, he'll be an official lawyer after that. But the truth is, its the hardest part. Only 10 among a hundred, could pass the bar. But still, luck is unpredictable, ahehehehe. He might hit it. ^___^

Congratz to Rodrigo Albayalde. (I'm not used to call him uncle, I call him Rodz most of the time, hehe)

I've thought of this plan a long time ago. And only now I had the time to do the t-shirt designs. It's just simple anyway, everything is just a cheesy illustrations. I just want to have our own gig shirts. I want to print this on or before 1st week of june. I want to keep it secret but I'm so excited I want to post it here right away. Ahehehehehe. ^___^

I got this idea from a tatoo designs from deviantart.com and suddenly, a creative tshirt art pop into my mind.

Well this is just for my personal tshirt. I'll wear this on our cfad week, nyahahahaha ^___^
And I'll promote this tshirt for all the portrait artist out there! Alright! Business again.

Well since Jhona loves panda, I don't have to think of any design for jhona like a mic or notes something, just a simple and cute panda would do. ^___^

Sorry for the crappy artwork, this is a super rush art. I think the drawing explains it.

Niel had the coolest design from my illustrations. And its the hardest as well. I'm no good in vectors, still trying to improve my skills. Well somehow it turn out good.

Well all the shirts could be in black also. I'll just ask them what color they want. But probably we'll just have both the black and whites.

Watch out for takumi, kr's and Himitsu's t-shirts.
For the Himistu members, at the back would be the Himitsu Heiki logo. Still finalizing the designs.

Hay ngaun na lang ulet ako nakapagupdate.
So far, sa lahat ng ongaku na natugtugan ko, ito yung pinaka-nasatisfy ako sa tugtog ko saka sa event mismo. Naenjoy ko kasi ng husto. Unlike dati, parating may isang piyesa ang di ko kabisado, parating nangangapa ako sa stage ng palo. Well ngayon, mas may time na kasi ako magpraktis. Sinisipag na ulet ako, ahehehehe ^____^
Although wala kami maxadong technical na piece, pero k lang un, basta rock en roll lang hahaha. Masaya naman e. Ako nagsuggest sa band na tugtuguin yung pinoy rock na Juan dela Cruz, natripan ko lang kasi kala ko magiging absent nanamn si jhona. Buti naman nakabalik na si Jhona, at san agumaling na ubo nya para ready na ulet kami sa next gig. ^____^

May lakad pa dapat ako ng 10am kahapon kaso di ko na kaya. (sori talaga nikka, kelangan ko din magpahinga)
Masama pa nga loob ko kasi may nakompromiso akong gawain na dapat ginawa ko. Pero yoko naisip, lalo lang sumasama loob ko. Babawi na lang ako.

- Nakuha ko na ipod ko sa tropa ko nung friday, yehey
- Manunuod ako ng Spidey 3 kasama si amiga sa wednesday ^___^
- Ambilis ko na sumagot ng sudoku, nakuha ko na un tamang formula, hehehe, tamang diskarte lang pala un. Pero olats yung libro na nakuha sa OS, may mga puzzle na mali, may mga naulit na ang tendency, imposible xa masolve. (sigurado ako dun, talagang mali yung puzzle, error talaga xa)
- dota break muna ako, sayang oras, magd-drawing na lang ako at magbabasa ng libro
- nung sabado, antagal ko nagintay kila kr, almost 2 hours, tas nainip ako, nauna din ako sa freedom bar. Nung nagaantay ako sa kanila, tumambay ako sa fully booked at nagbasa ng mga libro. Halos matapos ko na yung isang libro, wala pa rin sila Kr. Ne txt wala pa rin. halos 7:30 na yun, nainip na ako kaya binili ko na yung libro. Binili ko yung biography book ni Michelangelo Buanarotti. Hehe, xa kasi idol rennaissance artist ko. Sculptor, Architect at Painter. Genius.

2nd Semester Grades SY 2006-2007

Weeee, my grades are finally released. Hehe

Hahaha, my theo grade is a crap. I dont expect actually from that subject. My grade in theo is some kind of a sore in the eye. It's the only 2 in my card. I'm not in good terms with my prof in this subject. I despise his existence. He sucks big time. A perv who always try to pinch the arm of cute girls in our class. I never had an absent or late in his class. I don't even have a failing grade in any of his exams. He just loath me because he thinks I'm a bad ass. And I hate that old man also because he's a hypocite perverted asshole. He swear all the time in front of the class just to shut me down. And ofcourse, I'm obnoxious. I dont want to bow down on his seniority. I piss him off all the time just to put more wrinkles on to his forehead. One time he shouted at me and ask me to leave the class room. It's just about 5 minutes before dismissal. I told him its my pleasure to leave your class. I went out and slam the door. That triggered him to punish me on grades. Hehe. Jerk.

Anatomy 2 - In our prelims I got 95. We had a nude skecthing session for 4 hours. It's my expertise anyway. In our final exam here, we have to draw a human combined with any animal using any non water soluble materials. I draw a mermaid couple in a romantic motion. That's my best plate so far.

Creative Design 2 - Our final exam here is to paint an existing portrait and we have to modify it into our own face. Portrait is also my expertise so I got no problem wtih this. The only problem is I lack 3 plates beacuse I'm so busy that time, band practice, gigs, commissions, and the worst thing is I'm emotionally depressed. But I'm still thankful to Ma'am Mailah for giving me 1.75. I compromised 3 plates just to earn 1,000 bucks. Hehe

Free Hand Drawing 2 - This is also one of my highest grade to think that this is the subject I hated most. It's so booooooooooooooring!!! The only thing I love about it is it's an outdoor subject. There are times we just hang out on the grand stand watching the girls playing volleyball on the field (with chub3bi playing). Nyahahahahaha ^____^

Modelling - This is my favorite subject but the hardest as well. The materials is so expensive and what pisses me off is every plate, a new set of materials. I spend more than 1,000 bucks for our final plate here. Well the price paid back, I got 1.5. Maybe sir Santiago give credits for the class leaders.

Sociology - Well I have nothing to say bout this subject. This is a petiks subject. Just attend the class regularly and you won't fail. I don't even remember myself reading a sociology book.

Overall, the average is 1.66. If you remove that theology crap, I'm a dean's lister. Well that's life. Sometimes your excellence is not enough. There are people or shall I call it nuisance, they'll pull you down no matter what. And if you're a weakling, they will even dig your own grave for you.

First year accomplished! 2nd year is coming and I'm ready for it. ^____^
Well actually I'm an irregular 3rd yr student. Who cares anyway, I love my classmates. I'll stick to my original section. orayt...............

I bought the ticket at audiophile Cubao. I'm not a big fan of Mr. Big but I do appreciate their music when I first heard the collorado bulldogs in a battle of the band in our area back in 1999. But I'm sure there are tons of paul gilbert fans out there. Hehe
The clinic was a big help. It gave me lots of exercise and helpful tips to improve my drumming skills. All I can say is that he's so good. Pat Torpey have developed an incredible control of his left foot. He could do triplets or combination of hi-hat and cowbell with his left foot alone. Amazing...

Felix Apuado Jr.
Born: November 3, 1973
Died: April 6, 2007 (Biyernes Santo / Good Friday)

He was shot dead by four fucking police men on casual attires not in uniforms. A guy named Jerry called their assistance to respond on a certain rage caused by Felix Apuado's cousin named Atting. This guy was having a drinking session in a nearby place then suddely turns berserk the moments he get drunked. He break a numbers of bottles and the big problem started. These police respondent have a big grudge against Atting. The police patolas came to Felix house, also the house of Barangay Captain(Felix Junior is the son of Barangay Captain's Mr. Felix Senior). These police are looking for Atting but they found none. With bad luck, they saw Felix standing near the house, and they shoot him without any reason at all. They just want to prove their power and they should be feared. Felix is uneqquiped, just holding a celphone. He was shot on the right armpit. He was able to run inside the kitchen but the 4 assholes chase him and shoot him EVEN MORE. Felix fall to the ground instantly. His brother tried to assist Felix to get up and encouraging him to hold on. People around are panicking thinking that the motive of the police is to shoot the captain dead. Good people tried to gather around captain's sit giving him a safe position. They form a human shield to prevent a bullet hitting the captain. The police made their escape afterwards because people are trying to chase them for causing trouble. They run felix to the hospital but unfortunately, he didn't make it. He was dead upon arrival.

Their house is just around 30 meters away from our house. We even heard the gun fire, 4 big bang. We were wacthing TV that time. My aunti and lolas were having a good talk with our neighbors outside when suddenly my Aunti started shouting with grief and I heard the name Felix Junior. I don't want to think that Felix is hit or something. I'm thinking something else, maybe just a cassual fight with warning shots and stuff. But I heard the word dead. And my Aunti began crying on the floor. I'm so fucking shocked and my heart starts beating fast...

This was obviously a case of a murder not a homicide or something. The police told the press that Mr. Felix Apuado was armed and he's the one who started shooting. One of the poilce have shot on the right thigh. In which that particular case is a set up. They want to show that its a self defense for which police have the right to shoot if the civillian is armed and have no intent of surrendering the fire arm. That's BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Felix Apuado is my Dad's personal driver and a right hand as well. He's the one who fetch me at school almost everyday. He waits for me at the corner of P.Noval and Espana beside UST every night. He's my buddy in food tripz when my dad is on a meeting inside a restaurant or a hotel. My dad will leave us on a seperate table and he'll let us order anything we want. I remember the times when we are flirting with the cute waitresses of Tong Xin, Ate Beverly and Javerlyn. The times when we are on a hotel in Roxas Blvd, Tong Yang in malate, Le Soufle in the Fort, Dusit hotel in Makati, in Mr. Don Kang's house in Dasma Village, in Wen Sha Spa, Holiday Inn, China Town and more. We even had a road trip so early in the morning from Antipolo to UST and beacuse of that, I wasn't able to attend my Sociology class. He was even asking me that time where to buy a cheap celfone for his oldest son. Just a few days ago, he gave that celfone as a graduation gift, now turning first year high school this June. When we are eating luxury foods, he was always saying, "Angsasarap parati ng kinakain ko, pano kaya mga anak ko". I was moved by those dramatic words. I feel bad for his 5 kids in the province for losing a loving father like him.

Not knowing that it would be the last time I'll see him alive. I wasn't able to thank him from eveything he have done for me, my dad and my family when he was still alive. Probably that's his last mission, to bring his dad back alive.

Reminiscing the old memories.....
This is my favorite scenery in our village since I was a kid. So peaceful and relaxing. I see it as an artistic panoramic view, picture perfect. When I was a kid I'm walking along the aisle of the rice field with my dog named Serbando. He's a white hairy dog just like Patrash in Dog of Flanders. I'm so inspired I copied Nelo's lifestyle from the cartoons, I always bring a sketch pad and start practicing life sketching and drawing landscapes. I wont be able to do that now. It looks stupid seeing a grown up man sitting on the grass for several hours wasting time doodling on papers. But still I could practice techniques of natural photography here now that I have gadgets with me.

This event is my happiest activity with my classmates for this sem besides the CFAD week, Christmas Party and Paskuhan. We enjoyed drawing randomly on the floor under the heat of the sun. As early as 7am, texts keep coming, reply here and reply there. I arrived at school around 8am. I coordinated my group around 8:30 then we started the activity around 9:30. I designed the concept and my korean classmate helped me think of an ideas to input. There are bands who played while the activity is ongoing. It was fun seeing other schools' artist showing their artistic ability. It's a small world, I even met some of Rex's friends from ERIS, Patty from FEU and Baiken from Eklips. hehehehe

Congratz to all winners particularly to Adver Singko and to Francis Angeles' group for winning the 2nd and 1st place. Woohoooo... GO USTE

"My First" gig @ Kolumn Bar (March 3, 2006)
We performed: Handroid + Triptych Medley, Minamikaze (our first cover song we played as a band), Is it you by Hitomi and Yura Yura; 8th opening song of Naruto. We barely made it almost perfect except to my oh so obvious mistake in the last part of yura yura, I almost drop my sticks and lost my tempo in bass drum solo. Hahaha, I can't stop laughing that time. ^____^

Thanx sa lahat ng organizers, mga band na tumugtog at lahat ng nagpunta! Asteeg kayo! ^____^

Hay, absent ako sa sociology dahil super late ako, 9 dapat class at dumating ako ng school ng 10:30. Expected ko naman na di na ako aabot sa attendace. Ito'y dahil galing pa akong Forest Hills Antipolo, grabe anglayo, lagpas pa ng Cogeo fufu. Pero buti na lang, may load ako sa sun, tinawagan ko si notdi at pinapasa ko na lang sa kanya yung project ko. Yosh, solb ang problema ko. At least may napasa akong project ko. Hehe, pinaghirap ko nung isang araw yun. Hay, pumasok ako pero wala naman ako naattendan na klase, pero ok lang nagnejoy naman ako.

Nagdota ako kanina, habang nagaantay mag-alas kwatro. Kasama ko si Aidz,. Bumalik kami beato para magpraktis ulet magitara. Kaso Pagdating ng 5pm pinatawag na kami ni Ma'am Mailah. At ayun, ambilis ng pangyayari. Dasal, national anthem then intermission number kaagad, ahehehe. Angsaya, nagenjoy naman aku kahit boblats yung performance namin ^___^

A very successful event organized by the UST College of tourism. I heard they spend 15k per head just to push this convention. It reached 15k since only the third year students are tasked to manage everything and expenses we're divided by just a class of 1 section. Well still that's big but worth it. It's the counterpart of the fashion show of 3rd year advertising students that occured in Le Pavillion. I absorbed some information during the talk. 1 thing is about the best kayaking places in the Philippines. Batangas, Taal, and Pampanga's Hundred Island, that's a target place for me to visit someday. Another thing, scuba diving and wreck diving. This is also one of the things I want to experience before I grow old. I want to visit Donsol and see a real Whale Shark beneath the sea. That's absolutely cool. Well in general, I wan to see a real aquatic animals, the huge ones like giant squid, or giant turtle or even a lockness monster. That's absolutely cool.

After our practice in Gig Studio, we had lunch at the carenderia below the studio. We're making fun of the tigidong song. It's so hilariuos. Anyway, after that, I went to school to meet up with my friends in front of Beato. Me, Adrian, Buray and Charmander planned to watch the Emo concert at the engineering complex. I'm not an emopunk though, I'm just drag to watch that since I want to kill time. Our schedule of performance for FF gathering would be 11 pm and that time is just pass 6:30. Well all the bands are great. One of the bands who performed is Narda, I'm surprised they have a lady vocalist. Punk girl, alright, that's cool! Around 9, we ate dinner at KFC then I went straight to Kolumn Bar getting ready to hit the drums once again.

Final Fantasy Gathering 2007 @ Kolumn Bar

Thanx to Ate Rhea for planning and organinzing the event. It was such a wonderful and succesful gathering. I had good times bonding with my long time friends there. And I met new friends as well. They're so nice and easy to get along with. Another thing, I had a fun and educational conversation with Forth regarding drum talks. He's a bad ass, he's one of the best drummer I've met. He's so professional in the truest sense of the word. I learned a lot of things from him. But deep inside I feel awkward too, because I know I couldn't match even half of his level. He has power and great control of his muscles. But because of him, I aqcuired a new standard in drumming skills. Thanks to Forth. Thanks also to Matt who provided quality snare drums, cymbals, and splash. It's been 2 weeks since I've been hoping that there would be a good set-up of drums for the event.

To all the band who performed, nice going peepz, keep it up. Let's make our community stronger. Salute to PPF allstars and 3 day Trial. You guys displayed an exceptional skill of musicality. Sorry for our bad performance. We really lacked practice that time. We just practiced on the day itself. Next time I'll make sure to manage our time for practice properly.

What's Inside my Sketchbook?

Art Attack, hehehehehehe

I recieved a black hardbound sketchbook of canson papers last december. Most of the time, I bring it anywhere I go and sketch anything that comes into my mind. Well this is my favorite hobby of all time besides playing computer games and drums. I sit alone where I'm comfotable then start unleashing my creativity. It's very handy too, all I need is a pencil or a ballpen, and sometimes I bring a watercolor and brushes to make the art more apealling. It's just that, these days, I can't resist hanging out with my freind so all I can do with my vacant time is finishing my plates. But for sure before the end of the year, every page of the book will be filled with my skecthes. This would be my 7th book compilation of drawings.

Studies of Alex Ross Style. This is my chosen art style for western. Before I hate doing DC or Marvel characters because I hate doing the cheesy stereotype classic costumes of western superhoeroes. Pants first before underwear. It drives me nuts. But one day I realized, doing realistic portraits have the same art principles in doing western superheroes. Here I could apply the photo realsim sketch. Before I knew it, my principles are correct indeed. I could improve my techniques faster by doing this. Alright........ Thanks to Alex Ross.

Performing Arts
Mediartrix, presented another succesful musical play
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat @ Albertus Magnus Auditorium Education Building, UST

Class painting 1-1 attended the last showing of this Muscical play. It's an adaptation of the broadway musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. It's biblical story about Joseph and Jacob. Overall, it's a big success for spending more than 100,000 pesos for the overall production just for a 2 day presentation. The theatrical play turned into a talent showcase of singers, dancers, costume designers, and actors/actress. Their music drives your cells into hyper mode especially the happy songs. Despite the fact that it's a bible story, they still manage to put some comedy twists. I'll be applying for their creative staff for the next batch. I've always wanted to be part of a production like this. I'm so excited. ^____^

Mural Paint by our Class Adviser, Sir Santiago. Even our dean agrees he's way better than him. So far, he's the best painter in our department besides Ma'am rogers. He's an impressionist and expressionist as well. It's a good thing he became the adviser of first year painting. We know we're on the right hand. ^___^

Ink Lineart, drawing of our Dean, Mr. Jaime delos Santos. He's so good at doing a realistic eyes using pen and ink. The drawing is not a bond paper size!

Costume design by an Advertising Professor, Mr. Noel Flores. He's one of the highest paid prof in CFAD. He's the costume designer of Encantadia and Mulawin.

My classmate Cha-chu, promoting her Chaxessories Fancy Jewelries. Actually, I'm her first customer, though I designed an earing my own. I paid only for the beads. I gave the earings I made to my other classmate named Lyzel. She's one of the coolest girl in the class I would say. ^___^

Lyzel Chua. Actually I'm the one who started calling her lyzel, her real name is Liesl pronounce as lisel. Now everyone's calling her Lyzel. Some of my classamate's name were also changed because of me. Like Charmaine evolved into Charmander, Liesl into Lyzel, Charissa into Chachu, Jak into Jakiro, Edz into edzter, Jang Min Jee into Jang Jung(she's a real korean), Rap into Rafu, Sol into Soly and Tapel into Tapsi. Hehe, but I think their new name perfectly suits them. Haha, lolz, that's so random...

The favorite tambayan place, Pav, the place for spotting crushes going in and out of Beato. We have this extra ordinary innate abilty, we can detect our crushes upto 20 meters away. Hahahaha lolz. ^___^

Dinner with our balik bayan relatives. I've been hanging out in Makati for several years and it's my first time to step my foot inside Dusit Hotel. I enjoyed exploring the area. I found a cute jazz singer inside the lounge and she's so pretty. But too bad, when I'm about to take a picture of her, she's done singing already and busy enteraining the guests. Ahehe. Anyway, I enjoyed talking to Mr. Peter, he's a retired doctor and now residing in Alabama. He's cool, we're both fond of travelling and adventures. I want to visit his place sometime. My brother went there a few months ago and I want to visit that place too. There's a near NASA spaceship museum/park in their place. I just wonder how big those space rockets really are. ^____^

I went to Sm Fairview to buy DC Mythology Artbook by Alex Ross. But too bad, when I went to the comic shop, it's not there anymore. I saved money for a month just to buy that book. Oh well,I can't do anything about it. So instead, I bought a Getbackers artbook since it's 45% cheaper than the DC mythology. But I swear I won't stop searching for that book again. At least for now, I have money left for the event tomorrow, the Psicom Convention. Lots of my artist friends would be present tomorrow and I don't want to miss the fun. And of course I have agenda I set for tomorrow. It's time to be an anime and comic geek again. ^___^

Well luckily, awhile ago is also the mall tour of Nina the soul siren and queen of pop. So i decided to drop by and buy her newest album so I could have an autograph afterwards. I'm not a big fan though, but her songs have a significant meaning and memorable for me. ^___^

Modeling Subject

Friday is my favorite day next to saturday ever since. And it's just a perfect day for me and seems to be worry free. Plus, ever Friday is the time where I see my favorite teachers all at once. And it's also my favorite subject, Creative Design and Modelling. This clay modelling is always the fun part of the day. We're just like kids doing clay figures. Though this one is kinda harder because we are using hardening clay. You have to wet it every 3 minutes to avoid it from hardening right away. In our latest plate for this subject, we have to make any kind of animals and I made a sleeping dragon, I forgot to take a picure of it. I got 89, not bad since it's a super rush. Yet, I don't care about the grade, I enjoyed molding clays. Its fun, that's all. ^___^

CFAD's PLDT Finalist

Doing freehand plates is the thing I hate most among my subjects. I don't know why. Probably because it's boring drawing leaves, flowers, statues and a pile of rock or even pillars or building walls. It's just plain boring. There's no thrill or excitement to do those kind of stuffs. Anyway I'll just post my latest plate for freehand. It's quite good and I love the effects of ballpen. I got 1.25 for this. I thought my prof would reject this one because I sell my first plate with sir danny's signature.

CFAD's best entry for PLDT Painting Contest. This is a work of a fourth year advertising student( i forgot his name). The original is better than this pic because not all colors we're perfectly reflected on to this one.

I withdraw joining this competition because I know I won't make it for sure. Besides someone stole my money (2.6k). I don't have money for materials. I'll give my self a couple of months to practice oil on canvass. I never tried it. This painting and Ivan Roxas' are my inspiration to achieve this photo realism effect. So I'll invest my money to buy oil painting tutorials, canvass and oil tubes instead of losing it for the benefits of thick face theft.

Painting 1-1 Official Class Pic. Actually I don't have a copy yet. Maybe we'll be able to get it by the end of semester. I thought I wouldn't be able to make it to the class pic. They can't start the picture taking if there's someone who's not around. I was busy editing my permit/reciept in a near computer rentals and the snail printing shop is a crap. It took me 30 minutes to print 4 sheets. Back to the class pic, we had 5 shots in total, 3 formal and 2 whacky. For sure im gonna order the 2 informal shoot. That would be cool for my shelf. I can't wait to grab a copy. ^___^

January 6, 2007 Saturday, me, my sister and my cousin went to Mall of Asia. We arrived there around 8:30. The fireworks are spectacular. That's one of the most crowded day for SM Mall of asia. There are lots of people. The bayview was full so others just have to watch at the parking area and along the grass field besides the mall. The food stall and restaurant itself can't accomodate all of the people. You have to wait for a long line. We ended up eating at Mexicalli. I don't know if I spelled it right. The foods are weird, every food goes with a cheese and garlic sauce or the spicy tomato dip. The traffic is jampacked. Probably there are hundred thousands of people from baywalk to bayview. The fireworks are very artistic. It's such a nice romantic view. The scenery goes by with the time. While you're staring at it, the time flows slowly. I remember the time I saw the Boston Herald Fireworks. It's such a wonderful feeling. I hope to see more of it next week. ^___^
